Woodside Farm is a gorgeous small farm in Kildonan on the Isle of Arran. Facing directly south on a clear day we can see three beautiful islands, the Ayrshire coast, Mull of Kintyre and even Ireland. There is a mixed conifer and hardwood woodland full of bluebells and wild garlic, a large pond with adjoining streams and our market gardens. We are just about to open a fresh produce vending machine and also work with our local authority to produce food for our schools. Our aims at the farm are simple we would like to establish a diverse local food network for the Island of Arran that encompasses organic growing techniques, permaculture design principles and regenerative agricultural practises.
We are currently developing a campsite and onsite accommodation so hope to welcome you to our farm soon.
From October we will also be offering a mentorship programme to support those you want to grow self sufficiency or as a career so please follow our social media for more info.

Great to see permaculture in
Great to see permaculture in practice on a larger scale. With pigs, a veg box scheme, commerial scale egg production for schools and lots of other projects lined up, Jenny & Andy work hard to make practical permaculture and regenerative agriculture a positive reality. The location is stunning on the south end of Arran and the project is well worth a visit.
