Gathering 2017 - A Celebration of Green Living
This year's gathering will be at ScotLAND Centre The Hidden Mill in Dumfries & Galloway, from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July.
There will be lots of talks, demonstrations and workshops focusing on positive solutions. There will be music, dancing, fire-gazing, and feasting for all. Children will be whisked away with inspiring, fun and educational outdoor activities.

The Permaculture Scotland gathering is a family friendly event and we already have plenty of children booked to attend. There will be a childrens' space run by experienced Forest School leaders, with lots of fun and education outdoor activities and crafts. A yurt in the childrens area will be a comfortable space for parents/carers and younger children to spend time.
Parents and carers will be welcome to leave children 4 and over at the childrens' space whilc they attend workshops, we ask that any parent doing so also signs up to help out in the children's area for one session, younger shildren will be welcome to join in with their parent or carer.

All meals are included in the ticket price (from tea on Friday to breakfast on sunday) and will be provided by the excellent Fallain Food. Please do bring cake and other puddings to share!
As if the workshops,food and networking will not be enough entertainment, we have lined up some mighty fine, evening musical performances.
On our pedal powered stage we are happy to announce the fantabulous 'Samson Sounds' who will play their sweetest afro dub tunes and help us celebrate our Gathering AND The Hoolits brewed up with members of various Scottish bands from past and present, The Hoolits have been aptly described by the music press "If you've ever attempted a drunken ceildh dance to the likes of The Men They Could'nt Hang or the Pogues then the Hoolits should stimulate the same desire".
There will also be a bar onsite, hopfully stocked with interesting local Ales!
