Volunteering opportunities

Permaculture Scotland is always looking for volunteers, if you would like to get involved we would love to hear from you!

The Permaculture Scotland Working Group has recently adopted a Sociocratic structure and operates as a collection of semi-autonomus circles or sub-groups, read more here. We hope this will make it easier for people to get involved, you can join the circle which interests you and won't have to come to all of our meetings! Circles You Can Join

All circles are currently seeking new members

Events - The events circle organises and delivers events, such as the Permaculture Scotland Gathering

ScotLAND - The Scotland Circle Manages and develops the ScotLAND project

Policy - The Policy circle responds to consultations on government policy and provides comments and articles to the media on current issues

Outreach - We are hoping to develop an outreach circle to coordinate our web and social media presence, communicate with our members and the wider community and support local groups.

Social Media - We are looking for volunteers to help us get more active on social media, please download the role description below and contact us if you think you can help.

Web content editors - We are always looking for peope to help keep our website up to date please contact us if you think you can help.

Promotions - We are looking for people to help build interest in, and grow the profile of, Permaculture Scotland. See the role description below if this is something you think you could help with, the whole role need not be taken on by a single person.

Fundraising - We are looking for somone to help coordinate our fundraising activities. We are currently updating the description for this role, please get in touch if you are interested.
