Tombreck farm is a 240 acre hill farm in Highland Perthshire which goes from the slopes of Ben Lawers to the banks of Loch Tay. Previously a traditionally run sheep farm, we are now use agroforestry and agroecological farming techniques to regenerate the farm and the land. In the last few years more than 70,000 native broadleaved trees have been planted, providing shelter belts around fields and creating larger area of woodlands. As part of this regeneration several land based business have been set up, including Wildflowers Scotland, Scrumptious Gardens and a new Highland cattle and sheep enterprise using managed grazing (also known as mob grazing) methods. We also have a community owned facility known as the Big Shed with a community hall, commercial kitchen and studio space which is available to hire
