The Permaculture Scotland gathering 2018 will be held in St Andrews, from Friday 1st of June until Sunday 3rd June. A central conference style event with fascinating speakers and an exciting program of edge events including practicals and site visits, and, of course, a ceilidh. Workshops & Talks 

Throughout Saturday there will be inspirational speakers and practical workshops on a wide variety of permaculture-related topics such as forest gardening and creating sustainable bioregions. On Sunday there will be practical workshops and edge events including a cycle tour of the University of St Andrews Edible Campus Gardens (bikes can be borrowed). More details coming soon. Children

The Permaculture Scotland gathering is a family friendly event, so children are welcome and only pay for the cost of their food. There will be a children's space, with lots of fun and education outdoor activities and crafts. 
 
Parents and carers will be welcome to leave children aged four and over at the children's space while they attend workshops. We ask that any parent doing so also signs up to help out in the children's area for one session. Younger children will be welcome to join in with their parent or carer.
 

Accommodation

Two nights camping at Craigtoun Country Park is included in the ticket price, you can stay in a live-in vehicle on site for a small additional charge. Details of alternative options to be added soon, check back here. 
 
 

Food

For those with a weekend ticket all meals from dinner on Friday until Sunday lunch are included in the ticket price. For those with a day ticket Saturday lunch is provided. Vegan and gluten free options will be available, but please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book.
 
 

Evening Entertainment

There will be campfires, dancing, open-mic, ceilidh, bands and pedal-powered sound. Day ticket holders will be welcome to attend the Saturday evening entertainment.
 
 

Getting There

Arrivals and tent pitching from 12pm on Friday. Departing at 4pm on Sunday.
